1. The service
These Terms govern use of the Profiter application ("the app") by Shopify merchants ("you"). By installing the app you agree to these Terms. The app lets you create spin-to-win campaigns, allocate discount rewards, capture leads with consent, and view analytics including estimated incremental profit.
2. Merchant responsibilities
- You are the promoter of any sweepstakes or prize promotion you run and are responsible for its legality in every jurisdiction where it is shown.
- You must provide accurate margin and cost inputs; profit figures are estimates and provided "as is".
- You are responsible for the discounts you configure and any resulting cost.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use the app to deceive consumers, misrepresent odds, or run promotions that are illegal in the target market.
4. Fees & billing
Billing is handled through the Shopify Billing API. Tiers and usage limits are described in-app and on our pricing page. We warn you before you reach any cap.
5. Data
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You remain the data controller for your customers' data; we act as processor.
6. Availability & liability
The app is provided without warranty of uninterrupted availability. To the
maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to fees
paid in the preceding 12 months. [review]
7. Termination
Either party may terminate by uninstalling the app. On uninstall we honour Shopify's data-retention and redaction webhooks.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app.
